Testimonials
Camilla Figueroa is a gifted therapist — when I finished my session with her, I felt I had travelled with a seasoned guide down a path I recognized as entirely my own and yet which seemed completely new. Camilla's profound understanding of the body-mind connection will rejuvenate your anatomy and bring you closer to your heart. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Camilla's a joy to work with. I was surprised how much I got out of my first visit. She quickly put me at ease, and then, using a variety of guided exercises, I was able to explore and work on long-neglected thoughts and feelings. I came away with tools, ways of thinking, that helped me grow in many positive ways.– L.F.

I have never done yoga and am not very flexible. Will that be a problem?
No, it will not be a problem. With careful instruction and breathing, you will be safely guided to through different physical poses each session. Yoga therapy is not about what your body can do, but it is about your internal response to what your body is doing.
I have a regular yoga and mediation practice. Is there anything that PRYT can offer me that I cannot already do for myself?
Buddhist monks use partner-meditation as a way to greatly heighten awareness and deepen their experiences. The PRYT practitioner approaches the session as both a practice of metta (unconditional love and compassion) and moving meditation, which deepens the client's experience and allows them to witness deeper aspects of themselves. Again, PRYT is not about what you can do, rather its value is in discovering your internal response to what you are doing.
What will I get from the sessions?
Most clients report the following:
- Physical relief from chronic pains
- A feeling of deep relaxation
- Greater emotional awareness
- Enhanced mental clarity
- A sense of empowerment
- Clearer focus and sense of perspective
- Greater body awareness and feeling good in the body
- Easier and deeper breathing skill allowing you to work with and release tension and stress
How do I prepare for the session?
You should wear loose, comfortable clothes and avoid eating for an hour before the session. Please avoid scents, such as perfumes, colognes, body washes, hair spray.
How many sessions will I need?
Each PRYT session is valuable in its own right, a trip into the internal landscape of your mind-body connection. One client described her sessions with Camilla as "a springboard – what I discovered was my own truth, but PRYT allowed me to uncover my own truth perhaps years before I would have otherwise." Some clients use PRYT on a bi-weekly basis, while others prefer to schedule occasional sessions to see if there is any feedback from the body that can improve their day-to-day lives.
You will naturally decide the number of PRYT sessions you need depending on what is happening in your life and the issues you are trying to resolve.
